GUIDELINES OF THE COUNCIL

In order to facilitate the interpretation of the Attorneys Act and the Rules of the Law Society, The Council of the Law Society from time to time issues directives on how the Act or Rules should be interpreted and/or applied. These Rulings or Guidelines do not have the same authority as the Act or Rules, but are a statement of the policy of the Society at any given time.

The current Rulings (Jan 2010) are more than 100 pages in length.
